Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi.

  • Meeting at the Tbilisi airport and transfer to the hotel.
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Lunch.

Excursion across Tbilisi:

  • Rustaveli Avenue. Here we will see the building of the former Parliament of Georgia, the house estate of family of Vorontsov, opera and ballet theater and many other things (we drive along the avenue).
  • Liberty Square.
  • Foot walk towards the historic center.
  • "A performance about love in a stone" — Rezo Gabriadze theater. Represents a tower of a bizzare shape. Each hour occurs pass a performance.
  • The Bridge of Peace — an unusual construction over the Kura.
  • The park Rike and rise on the ropeway to Narikal's fortress. These walls remember a lot of things and conceal in themselves ancient legends and giving.
  • Pedestrian descent to Sulfuric baths. The most curative place in Tbilisi. Also there is an unusual canyon with falls.
  • Sioni's temple stores in itself a cross of Saint Nino who preserves our country.
  • Pleasant part of walk — Wine tasting in a collection of wines.
  • End of the excursion program and Free time.
  • Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 2: Excursion Jvari – Mtskheta – Shio-Mgvime.


Trip to the small town of Mtskheta known as "The orthodox capital of Georgia".

  • Walk on elegant ancient picturesque streets.
  • Jvari Church from where opens the beautiful view of Mtskheta, rivers Kura and Aragvi.
  • Cathedral Svetitskhoveli (1010-1029). Here is the Chiton of Jesus Christ, therefore the temple has extraordinary power. Besides, in the temple medieval painting and unusual frescos which more don't meet anywhere has remained.
  • Cave Monastery of Shio-Mgvime, where ancient frescoes are preserved and from where you can admire the wonderful views.
  • Lunch at small restaurant of traditional Georgian cuisine.
  • We return to Tbilisi. We visit the spice market and if we are in time, then the Gold Exchange.
  • Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 3: Georgian Military Road, Kazbegi.


Traveling on the Georgian Military Road.

  • Zhinvali reservoir (photo stop).
  • Fortress Ananuri (16th century).
  • Gudauri ski resort, panoramic platform "Friendship of the People".
  • Cross pass (height of 2379 m).

Moving to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda).

  • Rise to Gergeti church in a jeep (height of 2200 m) (included).
  • Pasanauri – we eat the best khinkalis in Georgia.
  • Return to Tbilisi.
  • Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 4: Excursion to the wine region Kakheti.


We leave to the wine region Kakheti.

  • The monastery Bodbe, where St. Nino is rests and from which the amazing view of the Alazani valley opens.
  • Sighnaghi "City of Love" - It is famous for its eponymous fortress, which is included in the list of the most famous and large fortresses of Georgia..
  • Tsinandali — Chavchavadze's house museum. Walk by the beautiful park. Visit of the ancient estate.
  • Lunch.
  • Kvareli — an excursion and wine tasting at the plant. The best grades of wines only for our guests and at the prices of the producer.
  • Return to Tbilisi.
  • Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 5: Uplistsikhe - Borjomi Gorge.


Trip to Uplistsikhe:

  • Visit of a cave complex in Shida Kartli (end of II millennium b.c.).
  • We rise to the top and admire the panoramic views of the mountains and the river Kura.

Traveling to the Borjomi Gorge.

  • Monastery Timotesubani (12th century).
  • Tsagveri resort. Favourite place of the intellectuals of the XIX-XX century.
  • Tasting of unique water which is n't bottled.

Moving to Borjomi:

  • Rise by ropeway to the plateau of a review. Descent by ropeway to the park.
  • Walk on the park, tasting of mineral water from a natural source.
  • Lunch overlooking mountains.
  • Return to Tbilisi.
  • Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 6: Tbilisi


We have a day when we can see non-tourist Tbilisi. So, as we see it, and visit where we spend time with our friends and relatives, to feel its beauty and unusualness.

  • Since morning we go to Mtatsminda mountain. We rise on one of the first funiculars in the world, which has adorned the city for more than 100 years.
  • We go to the Ethnographic Museum, which gives an idea of how the Georgians lived in different regons several hundred years ago.
  • Walk on the Turtle Lake (if you're lucky, you can see them by the water).
  • Lunch.
  • We go to the Tbilisi Sea, a place where the people of Tbilisi are going to sit and take a breath of fresh air or dip in the cool water on hot summer days.
  • From there our way will be to the monumental side of Zurab Tsereteli under the name History of Georgia. The place is very peculiar and in it's own way remarkable. From here we get amazing pictures of a sunset of a truly ethical kind.
  • Return to hotel.
  • Free time in Tbilisi.
  • Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 7: Tbilisi


  • Check-out from the hotel. We take things with us.
  • A trip to the Dry Bridge is a market of souvenirs and paintings, chasing and antiques. Here you can meet the most unusual and unexpected things and feel the color of the Old City.
  • Transfer to Tbilisi airport.
